3 days before detox

Prep, prep, prep – no matter how much we repeat these words, it is never enough. The better prepared you are, the easier the switch to our juices will be. It means that several days prior to detox you should reduce consumption of all those tasty dishes we enjoy and eliminate the following: coffee (if possible) or you can drink our cold brewed coffee , sugar, meat and dairy products, and consume fish, fresh fruit, green and other vegetables with every meal. You can start with individual consumption of our juices, 1-3 a day instead of meals, and thus gradually enter the detoxification process. By consuming our juices combined with fresh fruit and vegetables, you will get perfectly prepared for detox itself.

Before detox

LISTEN UP! NO farewell-to-solid-foods-with-a-steak-and-beer dinner the night before you start. You will NOT be a happy camper by the end of Day One. And that’s a promise. So start now!

Eliminate:

  • coffee (you can drink our cold brewed coffee, it’s 70% more alkaline than any other kind of coffee, and please drink it black or add our cashew or almond milk)
  • alcohol
  • sugar
  • dairy products
  • meat ( add fresh fruit and veggies at every meal )
  • gluten

During detox

Start your day with a glass of warm water with a slice of lemon. Water is essential during body cleansing as it eliminates toxins from the organs and body. Our juices provide living nutrients which our body needs, and water eliminates toxins from cells and “flushes” them out.

Juices are to be consumed in a numerical order, from 1 to 5, every 2.5 – 3 hours. The last juice is to be consumed at least 2 hours before going to bed.

Drink as much water as possible. It is also OK to consume herbal and green tea.

Light exercise to boost circulation or a massage is highly beneficial, as well as a sauna and steam bath. Treat yourself with body peeling to eliminate a layer of dead skin cells and show smooth, shiny and healthy skin. All the above makes the process of eliminating toxins easier.

*If you must chew something (not a chewing gum, of course), you can have a handful of raw almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts, one–quarter of avocado, clear soup, half of cucumber, half of apple, or drink a half of a bottle of the Juice no. 5 (protein-rich cashew nut milk) in the morning before you start with the Green Juice no. 1.

When tissues are eliminating toxins, they enter the blood stream and that is the reason for all “detox symptoms”.

After detox

Proper diet after detox is also very important.

On the first day after detox, continue with consuming juices (all juices can be purchased individually in our detox stores in Dobračina 23A, Belgrade , Shopping Center USCE, Level -2, next to Idea Supermarket, In MERCATOR Hipermarket or in Svetozara Miletica 6, Novi Sad, clear soups, fresh fruit and vegetables, on the second day start with grilled and steamed vegetables, and add beans on the third day. Fish or meat may be carefully introduced on the fourth day. Dairy products should be the last that you re-introduce to your regular diet.

Actually, the best for your body is diet based on 80% of raw fruit and vegetables, as thus you maintain alkaline balance. It has been confirmed that elevated body acidity is a basis for stress, fatigue, inflammations, obesity and weakening of the immune system.
